An arrest was made on the charge of armed robbery at America’s Best Value Inn on the 1000 block of Bloomington Road around 3:30 p.m. Tuesday. According to the report, the offender entered the victim’s hotel room and took the victim’s purse while pointing a gun at the victim. The purse contained money and a cell phone.

Theft under $500 was reported at Shell Gas Station on the 1800 block of Cunningham Avenue around 10:00 a.m. Monday. According to the report, the offender filled their GMC Sierra with gasoline and drove off.
