Reckless discharge of a firearm, criminal damage to property and aggravated assault were reported on the 200 block of Kenwood Road around 5:30 a.m. on Saturday. According to the report, the victims were sitting in the bedroom of their third floor apartment when a shot came through their window and lodged in the ceiling.

University

Criminal damage to property was reported at Burrill Hall, 407 South Goodwin Avenue, Urbana, around 5:00 a.m. on Monday. According to the report, it appeared like someone had thrown a metal garbage can lid at the door of the building, which cracked the glass.

Urbana

Theft of motor vehicle parts and access was reported on the 2000 block of Vawter Street around 7:00 a.m. on Saturday. According to the report, an unknown offender stole the front bumper and front license plate of the victim’s car. The vehicle was parked in the apartment complex’s parking lot.
