Champaign

Identity theft was reported on the 700 block of Chickory Drive around 4:43 p.m. on Tuesday. According to the report, the victim received two separate credit cards from two different businesses. The victim did not request either of the cards.

Criminal damage to property was reported on the 300 block of Chalmers Street around 3:14 p.m. on Tuesday. According to the report, the unknown offender damaged the coin receptacles on washers and dryers. No money was taken from the machines. 

University

Nothing to report.

Urbana

Motor vehicle theft was reported on the 1000 block of Kerr Avenue around 9:20 a.m. on Tuesday. According to the report, the unknown offender stole the victim’s vehicle.

Theft over $500 was reported on the 800 block of East University Avenue around 10:37 a.m. on Tuesday. According to the report, the unknown offender removed three grounding bars from a business cellular tower.
