University

Theft over $500 was reported at Babcock Hall, 1002 West College Court, between Friday and Saturday. According to the report, a student’s bicycle was stolen. The estimated value of the bicycle is $550. It is unknown whether or not the bicycle was locked at the time of the theft.

Theft was reported at Nugent Hall, 207 East Gregory Drive, around Nov. 1. According to the report, cash was stolen from mail addressed to a student. The student’s family sent an envelope with cash in it as a gift to the student. When the student received the envelope, it appeared to have been opened. 

Theft was reported at the University Public Safety Building, 1110 W. Springfield Ave., on Friday. According to the report, a student’s banking cards and cash were stolen from her wallet. The student lost her wallet on the Main Quad. The wallet was later returned to the Public Safety Building, but the cards and cash were missing. 

Urbana

Battery was reported on the 1500 block of North Lincoln Avenue around 1:51 a.m. on Sunday. According to the report, the victim and offender were involved in a physical altercation at a Circle K gas station. The offender was issued a State of Illinois notice to appear in court.

Battery was reported on the 300 block of Pfeffer Road around 3:26 p.m. on Saturday. According to the report, the offender pulled the victim out of their vehicle after the victim refused to leave. The victim sustained minor injuries.

Criminal damage to property was reported on the 2400 block of Prairie Green Drive around 1:32 p.m. on Sunday. According to the report, an unknown offender damaged the victim’s vehicle.
