Letter: Regarding Governor Blagojevich

I am impressed to see that a fellow Illinois collegiate publication is taking a stand against corruption at the local level and raising awareness before this year’s election. Whether those writing the editorial were liberal or conservative, some valiant points were raised that were eye opening to say the least. The examples of corruption in Blagojevich’s office are unsettling and just the tip of the iceberg, as similar hirings and terminations have been reported in the west-central Illinois area as well. Until we get a governor who is willing to take care of the entire state, Illinois may be on a slippery slope politically for years to come.
