They’ve all got it covered

1989 was a good year … and a good album three times over. After Taylor Swift released her fifth album last year, it’s been exploding with popularity, and recently, with famous indie rockers choosing to cover it. Harry potter and the super old family tree

Yesterday, J.K. Rowling released a(nother) new story on her Pottermore website about Harry Potter’s family lineage. It’s a short history, but it traces the Potter tree back as far as the twelfth century to Linfred of Stinchcombe who offered his medicinal (AKA magical) services to his muggle neighbors. Run the jewels, purity ring, tune-yards, oh my!

Pygmalion music festival is this upcoming weekend and we couldn’t be more excited. The Champaign-Urbana has a killer music scene that we can all be proud of and while students can get a sense of this creative environment at any time, it’s still great to have such a large event to get everyone excited and bring such big names to our campus. Maybe President Killeen will break out his guitar skills again!
