Okay, haters, time to shut your traps. Whether you’re a savages who doesn’t listen to Christmas music until December 1st or a half-savage who has to wait until after Thanksgiving, it is finally socially acceptable to play holiday tunes. Whether you’re a fan of Bruce Springsteen’s “Santa Claus is Coming to Town,” or “Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow,” you best be prepared to hear both in excess — and everything else in between — with no complaining allowed.

Okay, sorry to break out a particularly juvenile taunt against these last few weeks of school — but after a week that was hopefully filled with some much needed Illini rest and relaxation, these next few weeks of finals only seem more grueling. Best of luck to all of you, and (hopefully you’ve seen the last Hunger Games installment) may the odds be ever in your favor. The semester will be over soon enough.
