Drew Barrymore and husband split up

DI Denied

Actress Drew Barrymore and her husband Will Kopelman are divorcing after three years of marriage. The couple has two little girls aged 1 and 3. They said this was the best decision for their family, and that it does not take away the fact that they are a family. It’s always sad when couples break up, or divorce and it can be hard for everyone. It can be even harder when the couple in question is in the spotlight, and has a large audience witnessing the break-up of a marriage. Here’s hoping the family has time to heal outside of the spotlight, and that all parties involved are doing what they can to make the best of a bad situation.

North Carolina’s new law that severely restricts gay and transgender individuals may cause them to stop receiving billions of dollars in federal aid. The new law, which prohibits the rights of gay and transgender individuals to a point where individuals would have to show their genitals to police officers to prove themselves, has caused a national uproar. The law is now under scrutiny of the federal government and could seriously cost the state. This law goes against equal rights and infringes on the quality of life for a large group of people living in North Carolina. The country as a whole is justifiably rallying against this law and showing their disapproval. North Carolina made their decision, and now they are paying the price. http://www.nytimes.com/2016/04/02/us/politics/north-carolina-anti-discrimination-law-obama-federal-funds.html?smid=fb-nytimes&smtyp=cur&_r=0
