Champaign

Burglary from a motor vehicle was reported on the 2000 block of Moreland Boulevard around 12:49 p.m. on Wednesday. According to the report, the victim’s car was broken into and multiple items were taken.

University

An arrest was made on the charge of theft on the 1400 block of East Hill Street around 7:05 a.m. on Thursday. According to the report, University employee Mark Janowski was found in possession of a stolen bicycle. Security cameras caught Janowski removing the bike from a rack near the 300 block of North Wright Street.

Theft $500 and under was reported on the 1000 block of Stoughton Street around 8:23 p.m. on Thursday. According to the report, the victim’s bicycle was stolen from the rack outside of his apartment. 

Burglary was reported on the 1300 block of North Lincoln Avenue around 12:01 p.m. on Thursday. According to the report, the unknown offender entered the victim’s apartment and removed multiple electronic devices.
