Two officers stand at the intersection of Green and Wright streets on Aug. 28. The shooting that took place Monday night is still under investigation and police are asking anyone with information to come forward.

Champaign

Theft and credit card fraud was reported on the 100 block of West Washington Street around 11:30 a.m. on Thursday. According to the report, the victim’s wallet was stolen from her apartment and the offender used her credit card.

University

Nothing to report.

Urbana

Theft $500 and under was reported on West Washington Street around 12:34 p.m. on Saturday. According to the report, an unknown offender stole a temporary stop sign belonging to the victim.

Theft was reported on the 600 block of Nevada Street around 5 p.m. on Saturday. According to the report, the victim found items missing from his yard and unlocked garage and believes the offender raked leaves for him but didn’t have evidence to support the claim.
