Two officers stand at the intersection of Green and Wright streets on Aug. 28. The shooting that took place Monday night is still under investigation and police are asking anyone with information to come forward.

Theft was reported at the Housing Food Stores facility, 1321 S. Oak St., Champaign on Monday. According to the report, an unknown offender stole a catalytic converter from an University-owned truck sometime between Thursday and Saturday. The stolen auto part has an estimated value of $2,000.

Theft was reported near the Pollinatarium, 606 W. Windsor Road, Urbana on Monday. According to the report, several pieces of furniture were stolen sometime between March 13 and Saturday. The stolen furniture has a total estimated value of $295.

Urbana

Theft under $500 was reported on the 300 block of Cedar Street around 3 p.m. on Monday. According to the report, an unknown offender stole two bicycles sometime overnight.
