Criminal damage to property was reported at Trelease Hall, 901 College Court, Urbana around 8 p.m. on Friday. According to the report, a glass cover for a fire department standpipe valve was damaged in a stairwell during an argument. A University student heard an argument in the stairwell and encountered someone who admitted to breaking the glass cover but left before police arrived. The estimated cost to replace the glass cover is $150.

Theft over $500 was reported at the Lincoln Avenue Residence Halls, 1102 S. Lincoln Ave., Urbana on Tuesday. According to the report, a University student’s bicycle was stolen sometime between April 12-13. The stolen bicycle was chained to a rack and has an estimated value of $500.

Found articles were reported at an OSF hospital on the 1400 block of West Park Street around 10 a.m. on Monday. According to the report, an unattended firearm was found at the hospital.
