Theft of motor vehicle parts was reported at University parking lot F-23 at 1101 W. Florida Avenue, Urbana on Wednesday. According to the report, a catalytic converter was stolen from a student’s vehicle. The estimated cost to replace the stolen part is $1,500.

Theft of motor vehicle parts was reported at University parking lot E-14 at 1702 S. First Street, Champaign on Thursday. According to the report, a catalytic converter was stolen from a student’s vehicle. The estimated cost to replace the stolen part is $1,500.

Urbana

Aggravated discharge of a firearm was reported on the 2400 block of Prairie Green Drive around 11 p.m. on Wednesday. According to the report, an unknown offender fired gunshots into the victims’ apartment.
