An arrest was made on the charges of aggravated battery and resistance to police in the 1700 block of East Florida Avenue around 2 p.m. on Saturday. According to the report, the suspect and the victim got into a physical fight on the suspect’s property. The suspect attempted to hit the victim with a glass bottle. After the suspect refused to listen to police, it was discovered the suspect had two warrants for his arrest. The suspect was taken into custody and transported to the satellite jail.
