ON-AIR: Men’s Golf senior hopes to leave mark

By Joe Howard

After the Men’s Golf team finished 9th in the Fighting Illini Invitational, Senior Patrick Nagle hopes to lead the team by example and leave a lasting mark in Illinois golf history. Nagle shot a solid 3 over par giving him his 10th top five finish of his career. He pushes his team by encouraging them to give it their all.

Nagle’s building encouragement leads him to have high hopes for the team this season. Aside from a big ten ring, Nagle has something else to shoot for. He currently holds the 2nd lowest career stroke average in Illini golf history. Nagle and the rest of the team have a two week break until their next tournament in Glencoe Illinois.
