The Illini cross-country teams have had a week off this week, and are preparing for the Big Ten Championships this Saturday in Indiana. Fifth year senior Jon Houseworth says he is willing to do anything to help the team make it past the Conference championships.

“Ya know I definitely want to help our team make it to the nationals which I don’t think we’ve done in about 12 years or so and if we can place super high in the big tens, ya know cross country is a team sport and I want to do anything I can to help my team do that.”

Should the Illini advance, they would participate in the NCAA Midwest Regionals on November 11th in Minnesota.
