Undefeated Illinois notched its 33rd straight victory Friday night as the Illini cruised past Adrian College 8-2. Tom Connell and Joey Resch both scored twice in the first-ever meeting of the two schools.

The Illini started slowly, often making mistakes in their own zone and missing scoring opportunities. But once Connell started the scoring 15 minutes into the period, the Illini found their stride and consistently pressured the Bulldog defense.

Illinois plays its final game of the season at the UI Ice Arena tomorrow night in the series finale against the Bulldogs at 7 p.m.
