For the first time in four years, the Illini are headed to the NCAA Regionals.

After a surprising third-place finish at the Big Ten Championships in April, Illinois earned an at-large bid to the NCAA Central Regional and will be among 27 teams teeing it up at Ohio State’s Scarlet Course in Columbus, Ohio, on May 15-17. The Illini received the No. 18 seed in the tournament.

Led by Big Ten Freshman of the Year Scott Langley, the Illini will look to earn a top ten finish and a berth in the NCAA Championships later this month.

Illinois finished tied for 18th in their last NCAA regionals appearance as a team in 2004.
