The No. 19 Illini volleyball team finished out a 2-0 weekend with a victory over No. 23 Michigan (25-17, 25-23, 25-16).

Laura DeBruler led the Illini (4-2, 12-4) with 15 kills and hit .314. Freshman right outside hitter Michelle Bartsch had 9 kills, 3 block assists and hit .471. As a team, the Illini hit .364.

No. 18 Purdue lost to Michigan on Friday. The Illini return to Huff Hall this weekend to play Northwestern and No. 21 Wisconsin.
