As the fall semester approaches, Lovie Smith and his staff are preparing for the 2019 football season. The team announced Wednesday their training camp schedule would kick off on Aug. 2 with a media day set for Aug. 6 from noon-2 p.m. in Memorial Stadium beginning with a Smith press conference followed by player interviews and photos.

The following practices are open to the public.

Aug. 2: 10 a.m.-12 p.m. at Campus Recreation Fields

Aug. 3: 10 a.m.-12 p.m. at Campus Recreation Fields

Aug. 4: 10 a.m.-12 p.m. at Campus Recreation Fields

Aug. 5: 10 a.m.-12 p.m. at Campus Recreation Fields

Aug. 6: Media Day

Aug. 7: 10 a.m.-12 p.m. at Campus Recreation Fields

Aug. 8: 10 a.m.-12 p.m. at Campus Recreation Fields

Aug. 9: 10 a.m.-12 p.m. at Campus Recreation Fields

Aug. 10: 4-6 p.m. at Memorial Stadium, followed by Fan Appreciation Day

Aug. 11: No practice

Aug. 12: 10 a.m.-12 p.m. at Campus Recreation Fields

Aug. 13: 10 a.m.-12 p.m. at Campus Recreation Fields

Aug. 14: 10 a.m.-12 p.m. at Campus Recreation Fields
