We all have our opinions on the handling of Chief Illiniwek. This letter is not to reiterate why so many of us feel this is wrong, but to urge action (as many already have.) I am an alumnus of the school and appreciate the education Illinois has provided me; however, the actions of the University cannot stand. I will no longer donate to the University as I have done since graduation. I will continue not to do so until the Chief has been reinstated. I urge the right-minded, silent majority to do the same.
