As a University of Wisconsin alumnus, Badger fan and current law student here, I wanted to thank all the Illini fans for how classy you were during and after the game. We all screamed and cheered for our own teams, but at the end of the game it was mostly handshakes and congratulations. You treated us a lot better than Madison’s fans would have treated you, and we appreciate it. Although I have to admit, I just can’t get into cheers that don’t involve an F-bomb or two.

Congratulations on the victory and your long overdue return to the upper crust of the Big Ten. Hopefully this will lead to a long, hard-fought rivalry for years to come.
