Concerning junior Frank Calabrese running for Rep. Naomi Jakobsson’s seat in the Illinois House of Representatives, I find it rather amusing that a person who could not get enough votes to be elected student body president expects to be elected to the State House. Unfortunately, wishful thinking can only get you so far, and the Republican’s choice of him as a candidate for this race only shows how weak the GOP is in Illinois and how desperate they are for candidates, any candidates.
