Recently President White acted to ensure that every student’s Constitutional rights to free speech are protected. I for one would like to take this opportunity to applaud his action and the actions of the brave students that protested the ethics policy and helped to bring about this change. Freedom of speech is one of the things that makes our country great and is not something that should be taken lightly. To celebrate our recently reinstated rights, I invite supporters of McCain, Obama and any other political candidate to rally behind the Union this Wednesday at 4 p.m.
