Illini Baseball season-opening series cancelled

The season will now open Friday, Feb. 26 at the Big Ten/Big East Challenge. The event will begin with the Illini against Notre Dame at Jack Russell Stadium in Clearwater, Fla., at 3:30 p.m. CT.

Illinois will play South Florida at Bright House Networks Field in Clearwater Feb. 27 at 6:30 p.m. and go on to play St. John’s at the Raymond A. Naimoli Complex in St. Petersburg, Fla., Feb. 28 at noon.
