Police blotter for Oct. 22, 2014

Champaign

— Criminal damage to property was reported at Beta Theta Pi, 202 E. Daniel St., around 1:30 a.m. Saturday.

According to the report, an unknown offender threw a brick through a window at the fraternity. 

— Theft was reported in the 900 block of South Third Street around 4:30 p.m. Monday.

According to the report, an unknown offender stole the victim’s computer.

— Theft was reported at Wingin’ Out, 301 E. Green St., around 11:30 p.m. Saturday.

According to the report, the victim’s wallet was lost and stolen by an unknown offender who used the debit card at a local bar. 

University 

— A 24-year-old male was arrested for two outstanding city of Champaign warrants for failing to appear in court on the 500 block of East University Avenue around 9 p.m. Monday.

According to the report, the man was in a vehicle that was pulled over when an officer believed the occupants matched the descriptions of people suspected in a recent battery.

Urbana 

— A 23-year-old female was arrested on the charges of domestic battery, criminal damage to property and trespassing in the 1200 block of Brookstone Court around 2 p.m. Monday.

According to the report, the offender and one of the victims are siblings and used to live together. The two got into a physical altercation. The offender was trespassing on the property and damaged a phone belonging to the second victim.
