Police blotter for March 11, 2015

Champaign

— A 21-year-old male was arrested on the charges of operating an uninsured motor vehicle, driving on a suspended license and an outstanding warrant at First and Daniel streets around 11 a.m. Friday.

According to the report, the driver was found to have a warrant out for his arrest during a traffic stop for not wearing a seatbelt. 

University

— Two laptop computers were reported stolen at Wardall Hall, 1010 W. Illinois St., around 8 p.m. Monday.

According to the report, the laptops were left unattended in the residence hall lounge and are estimated to be worth $1,500 and $2,000.

Urbana

— Forgery was reported at McDonald’s, 601 N. Cunningham Ave., around 9:30 p.m. Sunday.

According to the report, the two offenders tried to use a counterfeit $100 bill at the restaurant.
