Champaign

— Aggravated battery was reported on Mattis Avenue around 10 p.m. Sunday night. 

According to the report, the victim attempted to break up a fight when she was battered by an unknown female suspect. 

— Criminal damage to property was reported in the 600 block of Clark Street around 8 a.m. Sunday.

According to the report, unknown suspect(s) jumped on the roofs of multiple vehicles in a parking garage. Eight victims reported damage to their cars.

 A 24-year-old male was arrested around 1:30 a.m. Sunday in the 1400 block of West Gregory Drive, Urbana for driving under the influence of cannabis.

According to the report, the man’s vehicle was stopped after a police officer smelled a strong odor of cannabis from the vehicle. 

 A 57-year-old male was arrested on the charges of operating an uninsured vehicle, driving with a suspended license, possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia near the intersection of Lincoln Avenue and Clark Street in Urbana around 4 p.m. Sunday.

According to the report, the offender was originally stopped because a check of his license plate indicated his driver’s license was suspended.

 Criminal damage to property was reported in the 2400 block of Prairie Green Drive around 8 a.m. Sunday. 

According to the report, an unknown offender damaged the hood of the victim’s vehicle.
