Kelly Cameron will continue as assistant coach

Kelly Cameron will stay on as an assistant coach for the Illinois women’s tennis program.

Cameron spent the last season as the assistant coach while Evan Clark was the interim head coach.

“I am honored and humbled to continue as the assistant coach for this tremendous program,” Cameron said in a release. “I would like to thank Evan for presenting me this opportunity and I could not be happier to work alongside his leadership again.”

The team had a 15-9 dual record and advanced to the semifinals of the Big Ten Tournament.
Cameron played under Clark when he was the head coach at UNC-Wilmington and graduated in 2014.
