College of Law takes hit in rankings after fall investigation

The College of Law dropped 12 spots to No. 35 in the latest U.S. News and World Report’s rankings for the best law schools. This drop comes after a admissions dean systematically manipulated LSAT scores and GPAs for years, according to an external investigation.

College of Veterinary Medicine offers a lecture on treating cats

Students will now have a chance to figure out whether their cat got sick or not. The lecture is part of the Pet U : Learning to care for pets program which is a program designed to provide daily care information to pet owners. Pet U is offered at two locations; Chicago and Urbana. Companion Animal Resource and Education Center will be co-sponsoring the sessions at Urbana and the college of Veterinary Medicine is leading the session. The lecture on how to take care of your cat will be held at March 12, 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the University of Illinois Veterinary Teaching Hospital, which is located at 1008 W. Hazelwood Dr., Urbana.

Washington Post Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist David Finkel to speak on campus
