Champaign

A 44-year-old man was arrested for a DUI at the intersection of Mattis and Kirby avenues Sunday afternoon.

According to a police report, the man was driving under the influence of alcohol when he violated a traffic signal and lane usage. The offender also was arrested for failure to reduce speed, improper backing and a non-injury, non-vehicle property damage accident.

A 16-year-old girl was arrested for theft at the 100 block of Convenience Center Drive on Monday night.

According to a police report, the suspect stole jackets, belts and socks from a local store.

Urbana

A 44-year-old Mahomet, Ill., woman and a 34-year-old St. Joseph, Ill., woman reported burglary at the 1400 block of West Park on Monday morning.

According to a police report, an unknown offender entered a doctor’s office where the victims work and stole money.

No arrest had been made at the time of the report.
