Champaign

 Criminal damage to property was reported in the 300 block of East Armory Avenue at around 9 a.m. Wednesday.

According to the report, an unknown person broke the driver’s door window of his vehicle.

 Burglary from a motor vehicle was reported in the 900 block of South Second Street at around 1 p.m. Friday.

According to the report, an unknown offender stole a backpack/sports bag, purse or wallet, identification items, credit/debit/gas cards, a drivers license and computer from the victim’s vehicle.

 A 23-year-old male was arrested on the charges of domestic battery, unlawful restraint and criminal damage to property in the 100 block of East Green Street at around 1 p.m. Wednesday.

According to the report, the victim damaged a window and computer.

University

 A 30-year-old female was arrested on the charges of driving under the influence of alcohol, leaving the scene of an accident and failing to reduce speed to avoid an accident near Dunlap Avenue and Windsor Road in Savoy at 11 p.m. on Wednesday.

According to the report, an officer saw the suspect’s vehicle hit a vehicle that was waiting to turn.

Theft was reported at the Illini Union, 1401 W. Green St., at 9:30 p.m on Wednesday.

According to the report, a backpack was stolen after being left unattended near the ballroom, The estimated value of its contents is about $900.

 Theft was reported at the Natural Resources Building, 607 E. Peabody Drive, at 8:45 a.m. on Wednesday.

According to the report, a box containing petty cash was stolen from a cabinet in an office.

Urbana

 Burglary was reported on the 1600 block of North Lincoln Avenue at around 11 p.m. on Tuesday.

According to the report, an unknown offender entered the victim’s apartment bedroom without force and stole a cell phone, money, and an electronic gaming system.

 Aggravated assault was reported on the 1400 block of West Park Street at around 4 a.m. on Wednesday.

According to the report, the suspect put the victim, a security officer at a local hospital, in fear of being battered while refusing to leave hospital grounds after being discharged.

Burglary was reported on the 1100 block of South Country Squire Drive at around 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday.

According to the report, an unknown offender forced entry into the victim’s residence and took a computer, television and piece of furniture.
