Champaign

Domestic battery was reported on the 300 block of South Fifth Street around 2:30 a.m. Thursday. According to the report, the victim and offender are roommates and were involved in an altercation. The victim left for the evening, and no arrests were made.

Property damage was reported on the 300 block of East Church Street around 10 a.m. Thursday. According to the report, two tires on the victim’s vehicle were cut. Limited offender information was received and no arrests have been made.

Property damage was reported on the 1400 block of South State Street around 11 p.m. Tuesday. According to the report, the victim reported criminal damage to his vehicle on separate occasions.

An arrest was made on the charges of aggravated battery on the 1800 block of South Philo Road around 10 a.m. Thursday. According to the report, the suspect was recognized as the person who slapped a University student. The suspect was issued a no-trespassing notice for University property.  

Urbana

Harassment by telephone was reported on the 1400 block of West Park Street around 4 p.m. Thursday. According to the report, the offender was a friend of a patient at a local hospital and continued to call the hospital multiple times, disrupting the hospital’s operations.

Electronic harassment was reported on the 100 block of Stebbins Drive around 1:30 a.m. Friday. According to the report, the offender was mad at the victim for being friends with an ex-boyfriend; the offender sent many texts to the victim that were verbally abusive and threatening.

Domestic dispute was reported on the 500 block of Springfield Avenue around 8 p.m. Thursday. According to the report , the offender and the victim are married and live together. The couple engaged in a verbal argument, and the offender damaged mutual property before leaving.
