Champaign

Armed robbery was reported on the 00 block of East Chalmers Street around 12:30 a.m Friday. According to the report, the victim said an unknown offender brandished a firearm and demanded property from him. The victim fled the area on foot.

Domestic battery was reported on the 300 block of Washington Street around 11:30 p.m. Thursday. According to the report, a boyfriend and a girlfriend were in a physical altercation and were separated for the night.

Theft was reported on the 500 block of East Clark Street around 1 p.m. Thursday. According to the report, an unknown offender disconnected the victim’s front tire from their bike and stole the majority of the bike.

Urbana

Theft was reported at Walmart, 100 S. High Cross Road, around 11 a.m. Thursday. According to the report, the offender entered the store and removed items without paying for them. She was stopped by loss prevention employees and was issued a city notice to appear before being released.

Burglary was reported on the 600 block of Glover Avenue around 9:30 p.m. Thursday. According to the report, an unknown offender entered the victim’s unlocked vehicle and rummaged through items. The victim said she was not missing items.
