Champaign

Armed robbery and aggravated battery were reported on the 1000 block of Pomona Drive around 3:22 p.m. on Thursday. According to the report, the victim was conducting a drug transaction when they were robbed at gunpoint.

Motor vehicle theft was reported on the 900 block of Bloomington Road around 10:20 a.m. on Thursday. According to the report, the male victim reported his vehicle was stolen. 

University

Theft over $500 was reported at the State Farm Center, 1800 S. First St., between 10:30 a.m. and 9 p.m. on Friday. According to the report, an employee of a University contractor said two tool bags, with contents estimating a total value of $800, were stolen from his parked vehicle. The vehicle is open-top, and the bags were unsecured. 

Theft was reported at Wassaja Hall, 1202 S. First St., between Oct. 24-30. According to the report, the student’s family mailed her gifts, which cash and a gift card were stolen from. When the student retrieved the contents from the mailbox, the envelopes appeared to be opened already.
