Silent Auction and Petals & Paintings Opening Gala

6:30 p.m. at Krannert Art Museum

Gala tickets are $85 per person (a portion of the price is a tax-deductible donation). Krannert Art Museum will host a silent auction and a two-day floral design exhibition to raise money for the museum.

Faculty member Shozo Sato will put on a “Kabuki performance style from Japanese theater” spin on Shakespeare’s “Othello,” with tickets ranging from $8-23.

Malignant Humor Comedy Festival

Spicy Clamato and DeBono will present a comedy show, open to all with free admission.

Moms Association Annual Meeting and Awards Recognition

8 a.m. in the Illini Union Colonial Room

Moms Association will be giving out awards for planning Moms Weekend events and this event is open to the public.

62nd Annual Mom’s Weekend Flower Show

9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Stock Pavilion

Moms Weekend Flower Show will feature garden displays and a plant sale. It is sponsored by the University’s Horticulture Club and is open to all with free admission.

Bags Tournament

1 p.m. in the Illini Union Rec Room (Lower Level)

This tournament will be open to all, with prizes for top three teams. There’s a $5 entry fee.

UI Women’s Glee Club Moms Day Concert

2 p.m. at Krannert Center for the Performing Arts

UI Women’s Glee Club will combine more than 60 voices to celebrate Moms Weekend. Tickets are $4-10.

UI Black Chorus Mom’s Day Concert

7:30 p.m. at Krannert Center for the Performing Arts

The concert will feature spirituals, gospel anthems, jazz works and R&B songs. Tickets are $10.

6th annual MOMS Brunch 2017

10 a.m. to noon in the Colonnades Club, Memorial Stadium

Brunch will include tours of the suites and club levels and close with a photo-op on Zuppke field. Tickets are $35 per person.
