The 6-foot-4 180-pound wideout will provide size for the Illini in 2024, which will certainly be needed as the Big Ten expansion begins that season. Amongst all recruits in Tennessee, Orr ranks No. 30 overall. Orr is the No. 122 wide receiver prospect in the nation according to 247Sports.

Orr put up over 1,000 yards and nine touchdowns last season on a Gatlinburg Pittman team that made it to the quarterfinals in Tennessee Class 3A Division 1 playoffs.

Wide receivers coach George McDonald was a key factor in the recruitment of Orr, and his commitment marks another taller wideout for the offense. Orr is the eighth player to commit to the Illini for 2024 and the fifth to do so in the last couple of days.
