The future is now: Wind power

Earth Day is a time we ought to think about the kind of planet we will leave for future generations. Unless we act, our children will inherit a world fundamentally different from the one we grew up in.

To prevent this we need to dramatically change the way we use and think about energy. Wind power is one of the best ways to clean up the air we breathe, the water we drink, and the climate that sustains us. Best of all, the wind energy sector stands to create millions of good-paying jobs and provide genuine energy independence.

President Obama and his supporters in Congress have a plan to repower our economy with safe and clean energy that is free from the heavens and can never be “outsourced.” But Big Oil and King Coal are resisting change at every step. This Earth Day, tell your leaders to say no to corporate polluters and yes to wind by passing Congress’s energy bill.
