Illinois freshman Meghan Frigo was announced Big Ten women’s cross country Runner of the Week.
Frigo got the honor after leading the Illini to a tie for first place at the Illini Open. The Illini placed four runners in the top 10.
Frigo set her personal record in the five-kilometer race with a time of 18:11.
