Cecilia Milmoe, Features Editor

Hello! My name is Cecilia Milmoe, and I’m a senior in the College of LAS. I started writing for The Daily Illini in fall 2021, and became the Features Editor in fall 2022. Journalism holds a special place in my heart, and I strive to represent as many unique voices as I can. In addition to journalism, I love writing horror stories, reading, alternative fashion and makeup, and my pet bearded dragon named Kalameet. I can’t wait to see what this year holds, and I hope to make the most out of my final year at the University!

Hailey Alessandra, senior in LAS, opened a smoke shop off South Sixth Street in Champaign to help fight negative stigmas about girls who smoke. Alessandra hopes to hold a grand opening on Friday.
