Heather Robinson, Editor-In-Chief

My name is Heather Robinson and I am a senior in Journalism with a minor in French. This is my fourth year with The Daily Illini, and I could not be more excited to continue with such a talented staff towards our shared passion of storytelling. As a freshman, I began working for the DI as a news reporter, before I held the positions of Assistant Daytime News Editor, Managing Editor for Reporting and eventually my current position of Editor-in-Chief. When I’m not in the newsroom, you’ll find me playing the piano, roller-skating, hiking and watching movies – my favorite is Moulin Rouge! I am always open and eager to conversation regarding journalism or anything related. If you have any general questions, please call our office at (217) 337-8300. For personal inquiries, feel free to reach out to me through email at [email protected], or over the phone at 618-319-2299.
